I've recently started to question myself on what I truly want out of my life. I have a wonderful husband who is the best father I know. I have two beautiful children who each have truly amazing souls. My daughter has the best personality, she makes me laugh everyday. My son even at his young age already has such of wonderful disposition. I've been blessed with a wonderful family on both sides, which gives me even greater joy knowing my children have such great grandparents, aunts and uncles. I feel lucky that I was able to go to college and now have a job that is secure and provides for my family. With all that I can say I have almost everything I've always wanted, what an awesome thing to be able to say at such a young age.
So, I was pondering what it is that sometimes feels missing and I've come up with this...
When I'm old and grey and looking back at my life what things would I have wanted to accomplish. Most definitely everything I've listed above. But, beyond that I would love to have had a career I was truly happy with and proud of my accomplishments. Being a nurse is definitely a great career, and for some it is everything they've always wanted. However, for me that is not the case. Photography has always been a passion of mine and something I've wished I could do for a living. So, I decided...why not try? My career in photography may never take off...but, then again it just might. That's the thing about life, you never know what tomorrow brings. So, I'm just going to do what I can and see where it takes me.
