Last night I got to photograph such a fun family! I've known Janette since I started working at St. Lukes almost 10 years ago. I haven't seen most of her kids since then. It was so fun to see them all grown up. When I think of how I want my family to be when my kids are this age, I can only hope and pray to be a family like this.
Plus, even though they all say they don't like photos, these were the easiest photos I've ever done! I hope you guys like them!

Dakotah turns 1! A few nights ago I got to take pictures of my friend Christina and her precious family, her husband Shane and their little boy Dakotah. I can't believe that it's been one year since Kotah decided he needed to enter the world nearly 2 months early! You would never know he was a preemie... he's already walking, clapping and saying words. 2 months later my little boy was also born 2 months early and these guys truly helped my husband and I through so much... I can't tell you how many times I called them with questions! It's been so much fun watching our boys grow up this past year. Thank you guys for a fun time, cute photographs, and your friendship!

Last night I had so much fun hanging out with my friend Christina's sister Danielle. She takes such beautiful pictures and was a huge help to me on all the poses. I definately learned a lot from her! Thank you Danielle for letting me take your senior pictures!

These pictures are engagement pictures of my good friend Summer, her fiance Ben and summer's daughter Faith. They were all so cute together and have so much fun... it was so neat to watch. I am so excited for their wedding in August! Thank you for the opportunity to let me hang out with you guys and take pictures!

Yesterday I got to photograph our good friends the Archuletas. I have so much fun whenever I'm around them, they remind me so much of my family it's crazy! No wonder why we all get along so well! Chloe and Cooper are both such good kids. They're beautiful, smart and so funny... what else could you ask for? (The verdict is still out on who they got all these traits from, it depends on who you ask :) I think their pictures turned out so cute, mostly because they're all such cute people. I seriously felt like going jogging afterwards!

I want to thank everyone that has let me practice photography on their families! I have had so much fun and have already learned so much, but I am nowhere near where I want to be. I now definately realize that photography is a learning process and I am always learning new things. Everytime I come home I think of different things I could have done and different shots I wish I would have gotten. Thanks again for helping me with my dream.

As a side note I would also like to thank Ericka for always encouraging me and keeping me positive. You are such a good friend.
